Brief Description of Persona:
P'lous is a stocky 5'6, barrel-shaped and broad chested. He has a muscular build and doesn't move very gracefully. P'lous has black shaggy hair matching large black shaggy eyebrows. His face is no-nonsense and rugged. His complexion lies somewhere in between pale and dark. He has large hands with fingers ending with a bit of a rectangular look. P'lous is as healthy as a horse - except that he has never been able to father a child.

Emotional Description of Persona:
P'lous has a heavy sense of responsibility and little humor for jokes and foolishness. He is determined and stubborn, carrying on until the task is done. He plans out everything before he does it, doing little on impulse. He soaks up knowledge like a sponge and can memorize facts easily. This makes him look like a know-it-all at times. All in all P'lous is a stolid, steady, reliable man - if lacking a bit in the excitement department.

Brief History of Persona:
P'lous is holdbred, from a small cothold on the outskirts of Whispering Sands Hold. He had a fairly happy childhood, with loving, supporting parents who managed to make a little time for him despite their busy farming life and three other children. He stayed on with them for longer than anyone expected, until he was fifteen. It was clear his talents did not lie in farming but in the smithcraft. Because he became an apprentice so late, he has only a working knowledge of the smithcraft. To everyone's shock, Polous was Searched three years after becoming an apprentice. He Impressed brown Streucalth at 18. P'lous tries to ignore his dragon's behavior at times and feels a secret guilt that the brown is not as sedate as others of his color tend to be.

Brief Description of Dragon
Ah, Streucalth, where should I start. Streucalth is the rich brown of a well oiled saddle, with very dark mottling on his underside. His head is lighter than the rest of his body. He's average size for a brown.

Streucalth carries whimsy to the extreme. His favorite hobbies include dancing, flaming trundlebugs, chucking boulders around (A dragon can lift what he thinks he can!), playing practical jokes on his rider, playing with his food before he its it, and imitating P'lous' loud snores. Most of it is innocent, but Streucalth has the tiniest bit of an evil humor. The angrier his rider gets, the more he enjoys his pranks. Still he enjoys the company of everyone, especially children. He thinks that fire lizards are funny and wants P'lous to Impress one to be Streucalth's 'pet'.
